We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computing Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Computing lessons to students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that reflects current industry standards and technological advancements.
- Support students in developing digital literacy and computational thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Computing and integrate new technologies into teaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Computing or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge in Computing, including programming and digital technologies.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Experience of working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching in a Catholic or values-based school setting.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools used in Computing education.
- Experience with curriculum development and cross-subject collaboration.
- Leadership experience or a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the department.
