Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across various subjects during staff absences
- Ensure students remain engaged and make progress in their learning
- Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for students
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
- Follow school policies and procedures consistently
- Assist with administrative tasks as required
- Collaborate with other staff members to support the school’s educational goals
- Provide feedback to the teaching team when necessary
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant teaching or supervisory experience
- A firm but friendly approach when working with young people
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting
- Familiarity with a range of subjects
- Previous experience with cover or substitute teaching
- Knowledge of current educational practices and curriculum developments
