Estates Technician needed to maintain and support school premises across multiple sites.

The Opportunity:
As an Estates Technician, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the school estate across both sites. This role is vital in maintaining the school’s infrastructure and supporting the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine compliance checks to ensure all statutory and health and safety requirements are met.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the school estate.
- Provide flexible support across Estates and Operations, assisting with maintenance and site management as required.
- Ensure premises are well-maintained and operationally effective.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver a safe and functional environment for students and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and compliance activities.
- Assist with the management of site operations, including health and safety protocols.
- Support the school’s commitment to maintaining high standards of facility management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in estates or facilities management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance procedures.
- Ability to carry out maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driving license and ability to operate a range of tools and equipment.
- Experience working in an educational setting or similar environment.
Preferred
- Experience with statutory compliance and building regulations.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites and adapt to changing priorities.
