A Cover Teacher is needed to support teaching and learning across all subjects during teacher absences. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects to ensure continuity of learning
• Support students through effective classroom management and engagement strategies
• Collaborate with subject teachers and parents to ensure a smooth transition during absences
• Assist with administrative tasks when required, including lesson planning and marking
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress
• Work closely with the Cover team and Senior Leadership Team to maintain high standards
• Support the school’s vision for outstanding teaching and learning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience in delivering effective classroom teaching
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to student achievement and progress

Preferred

• Experience in covering for both short- and long-term teacher absences
• Familiarity with a wide range of curriculum subjects
• Experience with digital tools and online learning platforms
• Passion for professional development and continuous improvement
