Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Support pupils in a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Work closely with the Head of Pre-Prep or Head of Prep to ensure seamless teaching continuity.
  • Adhere to the school’s policies, procedures, and values at all times.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of lesson plans where required.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and academic achievement.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the school through a collaborative and professional approach.
  • Be flexible and available to cover lessons as required, including during absences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to deliver lessons to a range of age groups and key stages.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and cover lessons as required.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar role or within a preparatory school setting.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Experience with pastoral care and supporting student well-being.
  • Demonstrable ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
