The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Cover Teacher - Pre-Prep & Prep to support teaching requirements across the school. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing educational environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with year group colleagues to deliver the curriculum effectively.
  • Demonstrate confident subject knowledge and adapt lessons to suit the needs of all students.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and teaching standards.
  • Promote positive attitudes in the classroom, fostering respect, cooperation, and self-control.
  • Record and monitor student progress, achievement, and effort in line with school policies.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to pupils in accordance with the school’s marking and feedback policy.
  • Maintain and implement school policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and safe learning environment.
  • Support the extra-curricular life of the school, including supervising in dining halls, playgrounds, and assisting with events and trips.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and/or primary education.
  • A successful track record in teaching and classroom management.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching English as a second language.
  • Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
  • Experience in leading or assisting with extra-curricular activities.
