The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a motivated and experienced Cricket Coach to join its sports department for the Summer Term 2026. This role presents a unique opportunity to inspire and develop young cricketers while contributing to a dynamic and successful sports program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality cricket coaching sessions to students of all abilities.
• Develop individual and team skills through structured training programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive sporting environment that promotes teamwork and discipline.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to sports education.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of sports facilities and equipment.
• Encourage a passion for cricket and promote the values of the sport.
• Maintain accurate records of coaching activities and student performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Level 2 coaching qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience coaching young cricketers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.

Preferred

• Experience working in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of the latest coaching methodologies and techniques.
• Experience with player development programs.
• Familiarity with the school's ethos and values.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate of £24.80.
