The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join our team and inspire students through creative and engaging learning experiences. This role plays a vital part in shaping students’ academic, social, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and support student learning.
• Plan and deliver schemes of work aligned with the school’s curriculum and examination requirements.
• Use a range of teaching strategies, including digital technology and blended learning, to enhance student engagement.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to support students in improving their skills and achieving their potential.
• Promote scientific enquiry through practical investigations, experimentation, and data analysis.
• Support the needs of all learners, including students with additional needs, English as an Additional Language (EAL), and gifted and talented students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure that teaching practices remain engaging and aligned with industry standards.
• Maintain high standards of safety and organisation in the classroom and laboratory environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role.
• Mandatory experience working in an international school.
• Experience working with EAL students.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with parents and students in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.
