Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the sports department.
- Lead and manage a team of highly skilled and talented staff.
- Deliver high-quality A-level PE teaching to students.
- Promote the importance of sport in all areas of student life.
- Support the school’s commitment to producing elite sportswomen who act as role models.
- Ensure the department maintains a strong record of success in national competitions.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, leadership, and personal development through sport.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate sport into the broader educational experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Expertise in a specialist sport with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Experience in teaching A-level PE.
- Ability to inspire a passion for sport and motivate students.
- Understanding of the boarding community and its unique needs.
Preferred
- Experience in sports science or related fields.
- Knowledge of strategic development in sports education.
- Experience in managing and leading large teams.
- Background in elite athlete development or competitive sports coaching.
