The Opportunity:

A Drama Teacher is needed to inspire and engage students in Years 3–8 through innovative drama lessons and productions. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach class drama to Years 3–8, aligning with the IB PYP and Senior Prep Curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, including students with special educational needs.
• Direct annual productions for Years 4–8, managing budgets and coordinating with senior leadership and colleagues.
• Support the delivery of Speech and Drama lessons and prepare students for drama scholarships and LAMDA showcase events.
• Lead co-curricular drama activities and provide after-school opportunities for students to explore drama further.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in drama education.
• Familiarity with the IB PYP and Senior Prep Curriculum.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience in directing school productions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Experience with inclusive teaching practices for SEND students.
• Background in performing arts or theatre studies.
• Experience with LAMDA or other drama examination systems.
• Ability to develop and lead co-curricular drama activities.
