The Opportunity:

A Teacher of Music is sought to inspire and educate girls aged 2 to 18 in a vibrant and dynamic school setting. This role involves delivering creative and engaging lessons, contributing to co-curricular music activities, and supporting the planning and delivery of concerts and performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging music lessons to students across the Prep and Senior School
• Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme, including choirs, ensembles, and performances
• Support the planning and delivery of whole-school musical events and productions
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Music to ensure consistent and effective teaching
• Foster creativity, confidence, and musical excellence in students of all abilities
• Encourage student participation and development in all aspects of music
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Stay up to date with current trends and developments in music education

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant music education experience
• Strong subject knowledge in music
• Excellent classroom management and teaching skills
• Commitment to working in an all-girls environment
• Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school

Preferred

• Experience in leading ensembles or choirs
• Experience with music technology and digital resources
• Experience with curriculum development and planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
