The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in the classroom and through targeted language interventions.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to EAL learners.
- Monitor and track students’ language development and progress.
- Work closely with teachers and the EAL team to provide individualised support.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Assist with small group and one-to-one language sessions.
- Contribute to the development of inclusive learning strategies.
- Promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all learners.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English, maths, and other relevant subjects.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and emotional well-being.
Preferred
- Experience working with EAL students.
- Confidence in delivering language-based interventions.
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
