The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our growing Nursery team and contribute to providing outstanding care and education for children aged 2 to 4. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 2 to 4 in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Plan and implement engaging learning activities that support the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.
  • Work closely with other staff members to ensure a consistent and nurturing approach to child development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
  • Support the delivery of the school’s curriculum and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with the preparation of the learning environment and resources to support effective teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare (not Health and Social Care).
  • Experience working with children aged 2 to 4.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for individual tasks.

Preferred

  • Experience in an early years setting within a school or educational environment.
  • Knowledge of early years frameworks and curricula.
  • Experience with child development and behaviour management.
  • Previous experience in a school or nursery setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £27,164.80.
