The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our growing Nursery team and contribute to providing outstanding care and education for children aged 2 to 4. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive school environment that values professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 2 to 4 in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Plan and implement engaging learning activities that support the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a consistent and nurturing approach to child development.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
- Support the delivery of the school’s curriculum and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation of the learning environment and resources to support effective teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare (not Health and Social Care).
- Experience working with children aged 2 to 4.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for individual tasks.
Preferred
- Experience in an early years setting within a school or educational environment.
- Knowledge of early years frameworks and curricula.
- Experience with child development and behaviour management.
- Previous experience in a school or nursery setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary of £27,164.80.
