The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Early Years and Elementary Homeroom Teacher to support students from Pre-K through Grade 4. This role is central to delivering a high-quality, structured curriculum that promotes academic rigor and student progress. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping young learners' educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in early literacy, numeracy, and structured curriculum frameworks
  • Design and implement data-informed lesson plans that support student progress
  • Monitor and assess student achievement regularly to inform teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent academic standards and support student growth
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery
  • Support the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to enhance student learning outcomes
  • Stay current with best practices in early childhood and elementary education

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an international school setting
  • Strong knowledge of structured literacy and numeracy instruction
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor student progress and use data for planning
  • Familiarity with American curriculum standards and Common Core State Standards
  • Commitment to academic excellence and student growth

Preferred

  • Experience with internationally recognised curriculum frameworks
  • Background in differentiated instruction and vertical progression
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with American, British, or other recognised curricula
