Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS Framework
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Support children’s learning through play-based and developmentally appropriate practice
• Use ongoing assessment to inform planning and next steps
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and specialist staff
• Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers
• Contribute to whole-school and Early Years strategic development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience working with young children (EYFS age range)
• Strong understanding of child development
• Experience working in a UK school or British/international curriculum
• Sound knowledge of Early Years assessment practices
• Confident working with Teaching Assistants
• Experience communicating effectively with parents
• A committed, reflective, and collaborative team member

Preferred

• QTS (preferred)
• Experience working with children with additional needs
• Experience leading or contributing to a subject area within the curriculum
• Familiarity with Tapestry or other online learning journals
• Experience contributing to curriculum development or EYFS improvement initiatives
• Understanding of safeguarding within an international school context
