Join a school committed to child-led, inquiry-based learning and make a meaningful impact on young learners. As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of children aged 1 to 6 years in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable to the Head Teacher for the conduct, management, and administration of class responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a safe, purposeful, and positive learning environment
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, caregivers, and the wider school community
  • Support the physical, social, and emotional needs of children
  • Plan and implement learning experiences that encourage questioning and vocabulary development
  • Complete and review the planning, observation, and assessment cycle, communicating effectively with parents and line managers
  • Create a stimulating and attractive environment aligned with the school ethos
  • Provide written reports and informal communication to parents on children's development and progress
  • Support and lead the staff team within the classroom and wider school
  • Ensure consistent classroom expectations are applied by all staff in line with the school ethos
  • Collaborate with the wider school team in planning and implementing curriculum and strategic plans

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or equivalent
  • PGCE in Early Years Education, Primary Education, or equivalent
  • Experience teaching children aged 1.5 to 3 or 3 to 6 years
  • Sound knowledge and experience in Reggio Emilia approach, Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, and Birth to Five
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage change and demonstrate resilience

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting
  • Familiarity with child-led, inquiry-based learning approaches
  • Strong understanding of early childhood curriculum frameworks
