Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in English and Humanities in line with the English National Curriculum.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Support the school’s core values of Respect, Courage, Cooperation, Consideration, and Nobility in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
- Participate actively in the school’s rich programme of outdoor learning, including Forest School and sports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and effective teaching practices.
- Contribute to the cultural, educational, and extra-curricular life of the school.
- Provide individualized support to students to ensure their academic and personal growth.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and INSET to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- UK teaching qualification (PGCE or B.Ed.)
- Experience teaching English and Humanities in the UK or in an international setting
- Strong commitment to educational excellence and student development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to support the school’s vision and values
Preferred
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience with the English National Curriculum
- Background in outdoor learning or extracurricular activities
- Experience in a multicultural or international school setting
