Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging English Language Arts curriculum aligned with high academic standards.
• Foster meaningful relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary lessons that integrate subjects such as drama and history.
• Guide students in mastering reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literary analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• At least two years of experience as a lead classroom teacher.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.

Preferred

• Experience teaching English Language Arts at the high school level.
• Familiarity with Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teaching and collaboration.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction and student learning.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment design.
