Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging English Language & Literature lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity.
  • Design and implement assessments that measure student progress and understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and enhance the school’s academic standards.
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s teaching practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.
  • Engage in school events and activities that promote student well-being and community spirit.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning tools and platforms.
  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Leadership experience or involvement in extracurricular activities.
