Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the IB MYP/DP, College Board AP, and other relevant curricula
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of students
- Support the holistic development of students through formal programs and additional contributions
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success
- Stay current with developments in science education and incorporate innovative teaching strategies
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
- Contribute to the school’s mission and vision through dedicated teaching and leadership
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting
- Ability to teach high school science
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent
- Professional current teacher licensure or certification
Preferred
- At least 3 years of relevant program experience (IB MYP/IBDP/AP)
- International school teaching experience
- Curriculum development experience
- Advisory or pastoral experience
- Multilingual skills to support communication with multilingual students and parents
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
