The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified English Teacher to deliver engaging and effective instruction to students across Entry Level to Level 2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons in both small group and 1-1 settings.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized instruction and encouragement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure learning outcomes are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and achievement.
  • Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and educational trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
  • Proven ability to teach Functional Skills and English at Entry Level to Level 2.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student support.
  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent).

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching learners with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies and support frameworks.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
