Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing, and communication.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure academic growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and a safe learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Familiarity with the Tove Learning Trust and its values.
  • Experience with cross-school collaboration and shared training.
  • Passion for English literature and creative writing.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
