The Opportunity:

We are seeking an outstanding English Language & Literature Teacher (Secondary - MYP/DP) to join our team from August 2026. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth within a world-class, inquiry-based learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality English Language & Literature lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and student engagement.
  • Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal development through differentiated instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
  • Engage with the school community through parent-teacher meetings, student events, and extracurricular activities.
  • Stay updated on current educational trends and IB curriculum developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in English & Literature or Education with a PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching MYP/DP English Language and Literature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience.
  • Familiarity with the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP).
