Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in English and Drama, aligned with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and student engagement.
- Design and implement lesson plans that reflect the school’s commitment to academic excellence and international-mindedness.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing across the school community.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Support students in developing communication, performance, and analytical skills through Drama and English.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that promote the school’s values and mission.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students in English and Drama through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching in an international or bilingual setting.
- Familiarity with multilingual education and the use of English, French, or German in the classroom.
- Experience with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) integration in teaching.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with colleagues and parents.
- Passion for drama and performance-based learning.
