As a Language Acquisition Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal growth of students. You will teach English, French, and Spanish to secondary students, supporting them in developing strong language skills and preparing them for future success in an international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in English, French, and Spanish to secondary students.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and language proficiency.
• Support the implementation of the IB curriculum, with a focus on inquiry-based learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance teaching strategies and resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practice.
• Engage with the school community and contribute to events and initiatives that promote language learning.
• Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages, English, French, or Spanish.
• PGCE or QTS qualification.
• Previous experience teaching English, French, or Spanish Language Acquisition.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

• Experience teaching the IB curriculum.
• Familiarity with the IB Career Related Programme (IBCP).
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Experience working in an international or multicultural setting.
