The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and fairness of all examinations. This is a flexible, casual position that offers the opportunity to contribute during key exam periods, including the summer series and other terms throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all examinations are conducted in accordance with JCQ guidelines
• Maintain the security of examination materials before, during, and after the exam
• Monitor candidates to prevent malpractice and ensure equal opportunity
• Support the smooth running of exams through adherence to procedures
• Attend training sessions and updates prior to each exam series
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and exam managers
• Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
• Assist with administrative tasks as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Availability to work during the summer series and other exam periods
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain focus in a structured environment
• Reliable and punctual

Preferred

• Previous experience working in a school or educational environment
• Familiarity with examination procedures and protocols
• Experience with JCQ guidelines or similar examination standards
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
