The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Executive Assistant to provide professional support to the Headteacher and Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that has been judged as Outstanding by Ofsted and is known for its high standards of education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the Headteacher’s and Leadership Team’s diaries, meetings, and schedules with precision.
  • Prepare and distribute high-quality minutes, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide administrative support in the preparation of budgets, financial data analysis, and income generation initiatives.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all interactions.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, bulletins, and other communication tools using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with the organisation of events, sponsorships, and partnership opportunities.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently within tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive assistant role.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong command of the English language, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Sound financial acumen with the ability to monitor budgets and analyse data.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and terminology.
  • Experience with event coordination and sponsorships.
  • Familiarity with the Personal Best values and ethos of the school.
