The Opportunity:

As an EYFS and Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, creative teaching and supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This role offers the chance to shape a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, wellbeing, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, curiosity-driven learning experiences across the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Support the development of personalised learning pathways for pupils
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and Quality of Life for every pupil
  • Champion inclusion, rights-respecting practice, and character education
  • Build strong partnerships with families and multi-disciplinary professionals
  • Model resilience, compassion, and integrity in all interactions
  • Lead and inspire classroom teams using a collaborative, team-around-the-child approach
  • Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing are at the heart of all teaching and support practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in EYFS and Key Stage 1
  • Strong understanding of child development and inclusive teaching practices
  • Experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience with SEMH support strategies and therapeutic approaches
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed and psychologically informed practice
  • Experience in leading or contributing to team-based approaches to support children
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and delivery in early years and primary education
  • Experience in working with Local Authorities or multi-agency partnerships
