The Opportunity:

As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early years education of students, following the Early Years/Foundation Stage Framework and contributing to a positive and innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that align with the Early Years/Foundation Stage Framework.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports the holistic development of young children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a creative and innovative curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
  • Support the school’s extra-curricular programme and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students, adhering to strict child protection procedures.
  • Utilise technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant Early Years teaching qualifications, including a BA Hons degree and a UK-based teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in teaching or a related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Strong commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Early Years/Foundation Stage Framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with technology integration in early years education.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities and community engagement.
