The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to create a nurturing, language-rich environment for young learners. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting children in their first steps in an English-medium setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, child-led learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Build strong, professional relationships with families and support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
• Participate in pre-opening planning and curriculum development starting July 2027.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Malaysia to ensure curriculum alignment and consistency across the EDUC8 Group.
• Support children—many entering an English-medium setting for the first time—in building confidence and communication skills.
• Work closely with a bilingual (English/Japanese) Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s growth as a founding team member.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• PGCE, QTS, TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent qualification and degree-level education.
• Proven classroom experience in an EYFS or early childhood setting.
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Resilience, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.

Preferred

• Experience in international schools or supporting multilingual/EAL learners.
• Familiarity with COBIS accreditation standards.
