The Opportunity:

As a Marketing and Admissions Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the identity of a new British international preparatory school. You will be responsible for building the school’s community, managing admissions, and driving marketing initiatives to attract families in Tokyo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full admissions process, ensuring a warm and professional experience for all families.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to raise the school's profile in Tokyo’s international community.
  • Oversee the school’s digital presence, including social media, communications, and branding materials.
  • Represent the school at events and fairs, building relationships with embassies, relocation agents, and corporate HR departments.
  • Maintain accurate records and support open days, while contributing to admissions policies aligned with COBIS standards.
  • Provide regular reporting on enrollment progress and market insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native-level Japanese (or JLPT N1) and strong English communication skills.
  • Proven experience in admissions, marketing, or business development with a focus on converting leads.
  • Strong public speaking and networking skills for representing the school at international events.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector, particularly in international school admissions.
  • Background in community engagement and partnership development.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum and COBIS accreditation standards.
