Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality EYFS curriculum that supports children's development and learning.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure consistent support for children.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lessons.
- Monitor and assess children's progress regularly and report to parents.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised learning space.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Support the school's mission and values in all aspects of teaching and behaviour management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Early Years or Early Childhood Degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- Commitment to high standards and a passion for teaching young children
Preferred
- Experience working in an early years setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection
- Flexibility and willingness to work term-time only
