The Opportunity:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children. You will help deliver the EYFS curriculum in a dynamic and supportive environment, fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Act as a Key Person to a group of children, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Plan and deliver creative activities tailored to the needs of young learners
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through collaborative projects and events
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children to ensure a consistent and supportive approach
  • Ensure the health and safety of all children in line with safeguarding policies
  • Support the continuous professional development of the school community

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching young children
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering cross-curricular lessons
  • Background in arts, music, or creative learning
  • Experience working in a small, independent school setting
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues
