The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Nursery Teacher to join our thriving and welcoming Nursery school community from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented Teacher to take on a class teacher role within a supportive and high-achieving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging early years education to a class of nursery pupils.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and creativity.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support the diverse needs of all children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to teaching and pastoral care.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support child development and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that prioritizes the well-being and emotional development of pupils.
- Engage in continuous assessment and monitoring of children's progress and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified early years teacher with relevant experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of early years curricula and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to both academic and pastoral care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs.
- Familiarity with teaching in a co-educational environment.
- Experience with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and learning.
