The Opportunity:
As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children. You will deliver engaging lessons that support holistic development and create a classroom environment where every child can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver cross-curricular lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Plan and implement creative activities tailored to the needs of young learners
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and support the development of each child across all learning areas
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a consistent and supportive approach
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all children in line with safeguarding policies
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum qualification: QTS or Certificate in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience teaching
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Ability to plan and deliver creative cross-curricular activities
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Passion for arts and music education
- Commitment to continuous professional development
