The Opportunity:

As a Football Coach, you will inspire and develop students through sport, fostering confidence, resilience, and teamwork. You will work as part of the PE team to deliver high-quality training and enrichment experiences that support the school’s Character Development Activities (CDA) programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality football training sessions that are inclusive, challenging, and purposeful.
• Support students of all abilities in developing their skills, confidence, and character through sport.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sport and PE team to contribute to the school’s CDA programme.
• Promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture within the school community.
• Organise and lead matches, competitions, and other enrichment activities.
• Encourage student leadership and teamwork through coaching and mentorship.
• Contribute to the broader life of the school through extracurricular involvement and events.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during training and matches.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience coaching football at a school or youth level.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to character development and student well-being.
• Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications.

Preferred

• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
• Background in character education or youth development.
• Experience with the English National Curriculum or similar.
• Knowledge of sports performance and player development.
• Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies.
