The Opportunity:

As a Form Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of students in the Pre-Prep and Junior School. This position offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning community, while delivering high-quality teaching and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach core and foundation subjects to students in Key Stage 2, with potential for cross-year group teaching.
  • Provide effective pastoral care and support to a group of students, ensuring their well-being and academic progress.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.
  • Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Uphold the values and mission of the school in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Strong pastoral care skills and a commitment to student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a school setting, preferably in a similar role.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching across multiple year groups.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and educational standards.
  • Experience with extra-curricular or co-curricular activities.
  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to inclusive education.
