The Opportunity:
As a Form Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of students in the Pre-Prep and Junior School. This position offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning community, while delivering high-quality teaching and pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core and foundation subjects to students in Key Stage 2, with potential for cross-year group teaching.
- Provide effective pastoral care and support to a group of students, ensuring their well-being and academic progress.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Uphold the values and mission of the school in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
- Strong pastoral care skills and a commitment to student well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a school setting, preferably in a similar role.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching across multiple year groups.
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum and educational standards.
- Experience with extra-curricular or co-curricular activities.
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to inclusive education.
