The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and creative French Primary Teacher to deliver a dynamic curriculum in French, History, and Geography. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality French language, History, and Geography lessons to primary students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a bilingual curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving fluency in both French and English.
  • Contribute to the after-school programme and curriculum enrichment activities.
  • Promote the school’s values and mission through teaching and engagement.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and innovative lesson plans.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native-level French speaker with a good command of English.
  • Qualified teacher with a PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience teaching French at primary level.
  • Strong understanding of best teaching practices and curriculum development.
  • Commitment to fostering student achievement and personal development.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching students whose first language is not French.
  • Familiarity with international curricula and bilingual education.
  • Experience with curriculum enrichment and after-school activities.
  • Knowledge of French and English teaching methodologies.
