The Opportunity:

A Secondary Maths and Science Teacher is needed to join a dynamic and international school in Paris. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in mathematics and science to students across a range of levels.
  • Prepare and assess students according to the GCSE, IGCSE, and A Level curricula.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the school’s mathematics and science curriculum.
  • Participate in after-school activities and enrichment programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and students to support academic progress.
  • Demonstrate fluency in both English and French, with the ability to teach in both languages.
  • Support the school’s mission of bilingual education and cultural inclusivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A minimum of five years’ experience teaching mathematics and science at GCSE/IGCSE and A Level.
  • A good honours degree and qualified teacher status.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and science.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to teach in French.
  • Experience with international curricula and teaching methodologies.
  • Passionate about education and committed to student success.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level mathematics and science.
  • Ability to teach mathematics in French from the outset.
  • Experience in curriculum development or enrichment activities.
  • Knowledge of Pearson Edexcel qualifications and assessment methods.
