We are seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher Secondary School to join a school committed to academic excellence and global education. This role involves delivering high-quality IGCSE and IB French lessons that inspire students and support their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons aligned with IGCSE and IB French curricula.
  • Design and implement effective assessments that measure student understanding and align with IB standards.
  • Stay current with developments in IGCSE and IB French education and apply best practices in teaching.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student learning and academic growth.
  • Monitor and enhance student progress and academic outcomes in French.
  • Implement school policies with a focus on safeguarding and equal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve the French curriculum and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGDip, BA, MA, or equivalent with ongoing professional development.
  • Proven experience teaching French at IGCSE and IB levels, including DELF A1 to B2.
  • Familiarity with assessment practices in IGCSE and IB frameworks.
  • Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into French lessons.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues.

Preferred

  • Experience in coordinating French curricula or serving as a subject coordinator.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities related to French, such as student clubs or academic competitions.
