The Opportunity:
We are seeking an elementary school teacher to join our established campus and contribute to a vibrant, forward-thinking school community. This role offers the chance to shape the future of education, whether at our current campus or as part of the founding team of a new location in Düsseldorf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies for Grades 1–6
- Support student achievement and well-being through a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents through conferences and updates
- Collaborate with colleagues on whole-school initiatives and events
- Lead and manage classroom instruction with a focus on academic excellence and student progress
- Implement modern EdTech tools to enhance teaching and learning
- Provide timely, relevant feedback to support ongoing learning and development
- Offer extracurricular activities that enrich the school experience
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Elementary Education (or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years’ experience as the lead teacher in an elementary classroom
- Strong classroom management skills and understanding of student learning
- Commitment to high academic standards and international education
- Proven ability to deliver core subject lessons effectively
Preferred
- Experience with the Cambridge Primary/Lower Secondary program
- Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) or IGCSE curricula
- Experience teaching Art, Music, Theatre, or Computer Science at the elementary level
- Fluency with AI-supported EdTech tools
- A collaborative, pioneering mindset suited to shaping a new school campus
