We are seeking a Science Teacher - Secondary School to deliver engaging lessons in Chemistry and Biology, inspiring students with innovative, hands-on teaching methods that promote critical thinking and real-world application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Cambridge Lower Secondary Science program and IGCSE Chemistry and Biology curricula.
• Ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences that support student progress and welfare.
• Create and maintain positive, inclusive learning environments that encourage student engagement.
• Stay up-to-date with professional teaching standards and implement school policies effectively.
• Apply innovative, inquiry-based teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding and interest in science.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A formal teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGdip, BEd, MEd, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching Middle and Upper School Science.
• Strong knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Commitment to student progress and welfare.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred

• Experience with IB MYP/DP programs.
• Experience working in an international school environment.
• Demonstrated ability to implement innovative and inquiry-based teaching strategies.
