Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that foster student interest and understanding.
- Apply innovative teaching methodologies to promote critical thinking and real-world learning.
- Provide personalized feedback and assessment to support student progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Organize and support field trips that enhance Geography fieldwork and experiential learning.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities to enrich student life and engagement.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on student attainment, behavior, and well-being.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of effective classroom management and pedagogical practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Fully qualified teacher with experience in teaching Geography at the Secondary School level.
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography, with experience in GCSE, IBDP, or A-Level curricula.
- Excellent understanding of personalized feedback and assessment strategies.
- Proven ability to deliver high standards of teaching and learning in a supportive classroom environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to student well-being, attainment, and behavior.
- Experience in collaborative teaching and cross-departmental engagement.
- Willingness to organize and support Geography field trips and related activities.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching within an international or IB environment.
- Background in extra-curricular leadership or involvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
