The Opportunity:
As the Head of Finance, you will lead the financial operations of the school at a pivotal time in its evolution. This role is central to driving financial strategy, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the school’s integration with the Inspired Learning Group. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the school’s financial future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Lead the implementation of improved finance systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance and Inspired Learning Group to deliver key projects.
- Monitor and manage financial risks and opportunities.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support school leadership decisions.
- Support the integration of the school with the wider Inspired Learning Group.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management and reporting.
- Experience in the education sector or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
Preferred
- Experience with school financial systems or ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with the Inspired Learning Group or similar educational organizations.
- Experience in budget planning and forecasting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Flexibility to work both on-site and remotely as required.
