Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that are engaging, challenging, and aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and cross-curricular links.
  • Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives to continuously enhance teaching practice.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, well-being, and student engagement.
  • Support the school’s mission of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Physics Teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics and the ability to apply it effectively in the classroom.
  • Experience in delivering curriculum-based lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with the English National curriculum or equivalent international curricula.
  • Familiarity with IGCSE, GCSE, or IBDP qualifications.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular activities related to Physics.
