Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that are engaging, challenging, and aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and cross-curricular links.
- Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives to continuously enhance teaching practice.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, well-being, and student engagement.
- Support the school’s mission of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to foster a strong partnership in student learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Physics Teacher with relevant teaching experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics and the ability to apply it effectively in the classroom.
- Experience in delivering curriculum-based lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with the English National curriculum or equivalent international curricula.
- Familiarity with IGCSE, GCSE, or IBDP qualifications.
- Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in developing and leading extracurricular activities related to Physics.
