Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the mathematics faculty, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages.
• Deliver A Level Mathematics to a high standard, modelling best practice in the classroom.
• Mentor and support a team of mathematics teachers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Implement strategic initiatives to improve student outcomes and raise attainment.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the sharing of best practice.
• Use data effectively to inform decision-making and improve student progress.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in extra-curricular and community initiatives.
• Embrace cutting-edge technology, including AI and AR/VR, to enhance student learning experiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum B.Ed. or B.A. with PGCE in Mathematics and QTS.
• Proven experience teaching A Level Mathematics with strong student outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to balance leadership and teaching responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a growth mindset.

Preferred

• Experience in middle leadership or senior leadership roles.
• Familiarity with international curricula such as IGCSE, IB, or A Levels.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration.
• Strong track record in driving academic excellence and student achievement.
