Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver rich, engaging, and challenging mathematics lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
• Foster a classroom environment that supports all students, including those with diverse abilities and learning needs.
• Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s commitment to international mindedness and inquiry-based learning.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with students, parents, and school leaders.
• Participate in the planning and delivery of school-wide events and community activities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
• Support the school’s mission through consistent demonstration of professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
• Minimum of three years teaching experience in a reputable school
• Experience in IB or GCSE subject-specific teaching
• Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
• A track record of outstanding student results
• Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience with the IB programme
• Knowledge of inquiry-based learning and student-centered teaching approaches
• Inter-cultural awareness and experience working with diverse student and parent communities
