Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a successful Mathematics department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance student achievement in GCSE and A Level qualifications
• Coordinate and support the professional development of Mathematics staff
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of teaching initiatives and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Work closely with senior leadership to align departmental goals with school-wide objectives
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in Mathematics education
• Ensure compliance with curriculum requirements and safeguarding standards

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent with relevant teaching qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching Mathematics
• Proven experience in leading or coordinating a subject area
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Preferred

• Experience working in a British school, preferably in the UAE
• Track record of success in teaching GCSE and A Level qualifications
• Experience in leading initiatives that have resulted in positive change
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for Mathematics and education
