As the Head of PE, you will lead a team of passionate educators in delivering a high-quality physical education program aligned with IGCSE and A Level standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic development of teaching, learning, and curriculum across the PE faculty
• Inspire a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the team
• Support and mentor teachers to achieve outstanding outcomes for students
• Oversee assessment, moderation, and professional learning within the PE department
• Ensure alignment with IGCSE, A Level (or equivalent) standards and prepare students for global universities
• Play an active role in co-curricular, community, and marketing activities
• Promote safeguarding and the holistic development of students
• Contribute to the school's mission of nurturing every child to excel

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• Strong teaching background with proven success at IGCSE/A Level
• Experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and staff management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and intercultural understanding
• Commitment to safeguarding and the holistic development of students

Preferred

• Experience in leading a department or faculty
• Background in physical education or sports science
• Familiarity with international curricula and assessment standards
