As a Secondary Biology Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering the CIE Biology curriculum at IGCSE and teaching all three Sciences at KS3. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Biology lessons aligned with the CIE curriculum at IGCSE and teach all three Sciences at KS3.
• Develop engaging and innovative teaching strategies that promote student understanding and achievement.
• Support students in developing critical thinking and scientific inquiry skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular and interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support learning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Biology education.
• Experience teaching the CIE Biology curriculum at IGCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology and the sciences.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and academic success.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Biology at A Level.
• Familiarity with using technology to enhance learning, such as Google Apps for Education.
• Experience in a school with a strong focus on professional development and teacher well-being.
• Experience working in an international school setting.
